Sorry that I am out of town for one of my favorite Alameda events: The Park Street’s Annual Classic Car Show. This year's show is the 16th Annual and is Saturday October 10th from 10am to 4pm. Have a great time looking at all the great cars.
The Show has over 400 show cars: Classic Cars, Antiques, Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, Roadsters, Vintage Trucks.
This week's Alameda Snapshot is from the past weekend's Park Street Art and Wine Fair. It was a great time with good food, beverages, shopping and people mingling out in the great weather.
I thought I would bring you some sights and sounds from this year's Park Street Art and Wine Fair. I will have the regualr Real Estate post later today.
With the bankruptcy of General Motors this week it got me thinking of how Park Street once looked. This classic photo of Good Chevrolet on Park Street when it was once one of the anchors of "Auto Row." The large lot and showroom now sits vacant. The street once boast four new car dealerships, now not one new car dealer is on Park Street. The Photo is courtsey of VIEWLINER on Photobucket. (Not sure of the Year)
Was craving breakfast and thought of a evening photo I took of Ole's a few evenings ago. For those who don't know Ole's Waffle Shop is an Alameda Tradition. On the weekends, the line and wait can be long. It is a true American Diner and the staff is always friendly.
